How to E-mail a File from the Internet on iPad
I discovered the book Distributed Systems for Fun and Profit, and the author was kind enough to provide a .mobi download I could read my Kindle apps. The problem is Amazon’s Kindle apps don’t properly sync the pages for books that you transfer in directly. It will sync properly if you use the send to kindle e-mail address though.
Now if this were a computer this would be a simple task, download the file, open your e-mail client, attach and send. Since this is an iPad you can’t do that, and iPad hasn’t seen fit to allow Safari to e-mail a file. The best alternative I have found is the iDownloader app. The free version has a built in browser that lets you download anything, and you can then use the “Send E-mail”.
